Before starting, be sure that your device is connected and set up in vMix.
Start at the Beginning: The vMix Desktop. After coming from years of using Wirecast, vMix is by far much more useful, stable and feature rich… Since taking the course, our presets have been streamlined significantly as I have learned simpler ways to add elements to shots, use of triggers, multiviews, etc.I took the class and very glad I did – if you are starting out like me, then you should have Tom on your side. This really helped me to get up and running with vMix much more quickly and efficiently since I was transitioning from Wirecast! Tom answered all of our questions, shared many great suggestions and was engaging too! – Mike.It filled in the missing holes and helped me gain deeper vMix skills. It was also great to hear how others are using vMix and the various approaches you could take with vMix to create similar visual results. The information I learned about triggers, shortcuts, playlist and outputs really did change my life! I spend less time trying to create a template for an event and it has saved me during live events as well enabling smoother productions with less errors.
I would highly recommend the class! I think the class had just the right amount of content to allow you to explore vMix more thoughtfully and create more sophisticated projects for events.
